SurREAL World is wherever you want It to be. Not really, but kind of. We are a traveling film fest — so we go to cities based on popular demand or if we just feel like going there.

No, but we do consider local filmmakers first. But whether you live in the city we’re at or not — still submit as long as you can be there IRL.

The event typically kicks off with some local vendors and stand-up comedy. Then, we move into film screenings. There’s typically an intermission, and then we do an industry panel. But the MOST IMPORTANT PART THAT WE ALWAYS LEAVE TIME FOR? The filmmaker hangout afterward. THIS is the whole point of the event, in our humble opinion.
